Jobot is seeking a Field Service Technician to join its service team in the Louisville, Kentucky area. The role involves installing, maintaining, and repairing industrial packaging equipment at customer facilities, with travel required to sites throughout the territory.

The successful candidate will troubleshoot electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems, read schematics, and train customers on proper operation. Excellent communication and independent work ethic are essential.

Qualifications

• Technical degree or equivalent hands-on experience.
• Experience servicing industrial machinery or automated equipment.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and ability to troubleshoot electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems.
• Ability to read electrical schematics and mechanical drawings.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Valid driver's license with acceptable driving record.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds in manufacturing environments.

Responsibilities

• Install, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain industrial equipment at customer facilities.
• Perform preventative maintenance and equipment inspections.
• Diagnose mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic issues.
• Train customers on proper equipment operation and maintenance.
• Document service activities and complete detailed service reports.

• Travel regularly to customer sites throughout the assigned territory, with occasional overnight travel.

A well-established, industry-leading manufacturer is seeking a Field Service Technician to join its growing service team in the Louisville, Kentucky area. This position is ideal for a mechanically inclined professional who enjoys troubleshooting, working independently, and traveling to customer locations to install, maintain, and repair industrial packaging equipment.

The successful candidate will serve as the face of the company while providing exceptional technical support and ensuring customer satisfaction.

Preferred Experience

• Field service or industrial maintenance experience.
• Packaging, automation, conveyor, or manufacturing equipment experience is highly desirable.
• PLC troubleshooting experience is a plus.
