Support and Reporting

This position reports to: Support Services Specialist

Your Role and Responsibilities

In this role, you will execute service work according to work instructions, ABB quality, and safety guidelines. Your daily tasks include delivering quality customer service, planning, and executing service work based on customer orders and expectations. You will demonstrate your expertise by ensuring customer retention through effective communication of service timelines and expectations.

The work model for this role is: Remote.

You will be mainly responsible for:

1. Working with the customer on-site to identify opportunities to improve operations and eliminate pain points.
2. Performing field service tasks, diagnosing technical issues, and conducting analysis through remote or on-site activities in service categories and products for which you are certified.
3. Preparing material lists needed for service activities, ensuring all materials, parts, and equipment are available and of appropriate quality.
4. Acting as a trainer when needed for field service associates and customers.

Qualifications

• 2 years of technical/electrical school preferred and/or relevant military or field service experience.
• Willingness to travel.
• Experience with 3-phase (208/480VAC) power distribution equipment (UPS, PDU, STS, Panelboards, etc.) or similar military/relevant field service experience.
• Must have work authorization to work for ABB in the US.
