Qualifications

Responsibilities

The ideal candidate is mechanically inclined, enjoys diagnosing equipment issues, performing preventative maintenance, and providing excellent customer service while working independently in the field.## ResponsibilitiesTo perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.* Perform troubleshooting, diagnostics, repair, and preventative maintenance on pumps and related mechanical equipment.* Inspect equipment, identify mechanical issues, and recommend appropriate repairs or corrective actions.* Perform routine maintenance, including oil changes, lubrication, component replacement, and equipment inspections.* Install, repair, and maintain pumping systems and associated equipment.* Maintain service parts inventory and accurately complete service reports and documentation.* Ensure all work is completed in accordance with company and customer safety standards.* Communicate professionally with customers regarding equipment condition, repairs, and maintenance recommendations.* Maintain company vehicles, tools, and equipment in good working condition.* Work independently with minimal supervision while effectively managing service calls.* Collaborate with internal teams to ensure timely resolution of customer needs.* Demonstrate accountability, professionalism, and a commitment to continuous improvement.## Requirements* Ability to work safely in industrial environments and comply with all customer safety requirements.* Ability to obtain all required customer site clearances and safety certifications, including MSHA training and any additional site-specific requirements.* Ability to lift, carry, and move equipment and tools as required for the position.* Ability to work outdoors in varying weather and environmental conditions.## Driving Requirements* Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.* Must meet company requirements to operate a company service vehicle.* Driver Application for Employment.* Motor Vehicle Report (MVR).* Driver Disclosure and Release.* Employee Applicant Drug and Alcohol Statement (if applicable).## Education & Experience### Required* High school diploma or GED.* One to three years of field service, industrial maintenance, mechanical maintenance, or related technical experience.* Strong mechanical aptitude with experience troubleshooting and repairing pumps, rotating equipment, diesel-powered equipment, or other industrial machinery.### Preferred* Experience working with industrial pumping systems or water and wastewater equipment.* Previous experience in mining, industrial, construction, or heavy equipment environments.* Industry-specific certifications or licenses.## Skills* Strong mechanical troubleshooting and diagnostic skills.* Experience performing preventative maintenance and equipment repairs.* Knowledge of pumps, motors, rotating equipment, hydraulics, diesel equipment, or similar mechanical systems.* Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, schematics, and service documentation.* Excellent customer service and communication skills.* Proficiency with Microsoft Office and mobile technology.* Ability to work independently while managing multiple priorities.* Strong problem-solving and critical-thinking skills.## CompensationThe estimated hourly pay range for this position is **$36.00 to $39.00 per hour**.Starting pay is dependent on multiple factors, such as skills, experience, and work location.
