Job summary

Xylem is seeking a Senior Field Service Technician to initiate and execute field service activities at customer sites in a safe and efficient manner. You will perform proactive troubleshooting, maintenance, and inventory management while interfacing with customers across multiple systems and locations.

Expect 20%–80% travel with overnight stays; you may need to obtain a CDL and DOT medical card. Strong teamwork, safety culture, and customer service skills are essential in this role.

Qualifications

• HS diploma or equivalent required; industry licenses preferred.
• Ability to obtain CDL, Class A or B with endorsements.
• Experience with field service in water, industrial, or process environments is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Initiate and execute field service activities at customer sites safely.
• Troubleshoot systems, perform preventative maintenance, and manage parts inventory.
• Interfacing with customers and working across multiple systems/locations.
• Travel 20%–80% as required by division and location; overnight stays may be needed.

This role includes proactive system troubleshooting, works with mechanical, electrical, diesel equipment conditions, conducts preventative maintenance and parts inventory, and anticipates and corrects safety issues (both Company and Customer owned equipment). Has direct interfacing with customer and may be responsible for work in multiple systems/locations/customers.
