Job summary

Xylem sucht einen Field Service Technician, der Kundeneinsätze vor Ort am Standort Milpitas (und ggf. Ames, Kalifornien) durchführt. Sie beheben Systemprobleme, führen Wartungen durch und sorgen für sichere Arbeitsabläufe.

Sie arbeiten eigenständig oder im Team, sind flexibel, verfügen über gute Kommunikationsfähigkeiten und bringen Bereitschaft zu regionalen Einsätzen mit.

Qualifications

• HS diploma oder gleichwertiger Abschluss.
• Fähigkeit, alle erforderlichen Kundenfreigaben (TWIC, DISA etc.) zu erwerben.
• CDL Klasse A oder B mit entsprechenden Berechtigungen ist wünschenswert.

Responsibilities

• Vor Ort beim Kunden Wartungs- und Reparaturarbeiten durchführen.
• Systeme auf Funktion prüfen, Fehlerdiagnose und Fehlerbehebung.
• Präventive Wartung und Bestandsverwaltung von Teilen.
• Sicherheitsrelevante Probleme erkennen und beheben.
• Wenn nötig eigenständig oder im Team arbeiten.

This role includes system troubleshooting, works with mechanical, electrical, diesel equipment conditions, conducts preventative maintenance and parts inventory, and can identify and remedy safety issues (both Company and Customer owned equipment). Has direct interfacing with customer and potentially works at multiple sites / with multiple technologies. Critical thinking in this role is a critical item.
