Job summary

ABG - A B Graphic International is seeking a Field Service Technician to install, maintain, and support ABG equipment across diverse sites. You will provide operator training and post-installation assistance, with responsibilities spanning mechanical, electrical, and software issue resolution both onsite and remotely.

The role requires up to 85% travel domestically and internationally, including service visits to customers across North America and beyond.

Qualifications

• Must possess the ability to apply critical thinking and problem-solving skills to troubleshoot, test, repair and service technical equipment.
• Ability to troubleshoot, test, repair and service ABG equipment on-site.
• Experience with web handling, electrical and mechanical aptitude; strong time management and travel readiness.

Responsibilities

• Install and maintain AB equipment onsite, provide operator training and post-installation support.
• Diagnose mechanical, electrical (high/low voltage AC/DC) and software issues remotely or onsite.
• Handle calls, resolve customer queries and assist refurbishment of in-house equipment.
• Travel up to 85% domestically and internationally to service sites.

About the role

As a Field Service Technician, you will work to proficiently install and maintain a diverse array of AB equipment onsite, offering comprehensive operator training and diligent post installation support. ABG equipment range; Vectra, Omega, Digicon, Enprom and/or additional lines may be required. You will expertly troubleshoot all aspects of the AB Graphic equipment, addressing mechanical, electrical (both high and low voltage AC/DC), and software related issues both onsite and remotely via phone. While not engaged in customer site visits, you will be efficiently handling calls, resolving customer queries, and contributing to the refurbishment of inhouse equipment. This list is not exhaustive, and you may be required to carry out other reasonable tasks at your manager’s request

This role will require travel up to 85% of the year, domestically and internationally, work flexible shifts and to adapt to changing work schedules. One will conduct service and warranty visits to customer sites across the USA, Canada, Mexico, and the Caribbean, diagnosing and executing onsite repairs.
