Harold's Equipment, Inc. is seeking a Field Service Technician to diagnose and repair dairy and poultry farm equipment across Ohio. You will use mechanical and electrical skills to perform maintenance, troubleshoot issues, and ensure customer satisfaction on every service call.

The role requires reading schematics, using power tools, and delivering clear explanations to customers. You will work independently or with the team, maintain records, and stay current with industry practices.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in equipment repair or as a service technician.
• Ability to read and interpret schematics for troubleshooting.
• Proficient with power tools and hand tools.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Strong problem-solving and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently or as part of a team.
• Valid driver's license preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance and repairs on equipment, including manure pumps and feeding equipment.
• Work on equipment with computers and electronics.
• Diagnose issues using schematics and OEM specifications to ensure accurate repairs.
• Utilize power tools and other equipment safely and effectively during service calls.
• Provide exceptional customer service by communicating clearly with clients regarding repairs, maintenance, and recommendations.
• Maintain accurate records of service performed, parts used, and customer interactions.
• Collaborate with team members to improve service efficiency and effectiveness.
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends, technologies, and best practices related to vehicle maintenance and repair.

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Field Service Technician to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for providing exceptional service and support to our clients in the field. You will utilize your technical expertise to diagnose and repair equipment, ensuring optimal performance and customer satisfaction. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in mechanics and also a understanding of electronics or strong desire to learn it. Having a farming background is a bonus. Most of the work is on Dairy and Poultry farms in Ohio.
