Job summary

Agproconstruction in Sunnyside, WA is seeking an experienced Field Service Technician to support our dairy equipment service on farms. This role focuses on diagnosing, repairing, and installing pumps, separators, fans, piping and valves, in outdoor rural settings with a strong team culture.

You will operate agricultural machinery such as telehandlers, lifts, excavators, loaders, and trailers, and perform on-site repairs and fabrication as needed.

Qualifications

• mechanically inclined with farming, welding, or construction background
• clean driving record and valid driver’s license
• able to pass a drug screen (pre-employment and random)
• comfortable working in rural areas and all types of weather
• on-call for service and repairs

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, repair, rebuild and install dairy equipment on farms (pumps, separators, fans, piping, valves)

• Repair and fabricate items using cutting, burning and welding techniques

Job Title: Field Service Technician

We are an agricultural contracting company seeking an experienced Field Service Technician to join our team in Sunnyside, WA. Our company is actively involved in commercial and agricultural service and development projects. We are expanding and require additional team members to support our growth. This role will focus on mastering the latest dairy equipment and services. Duties and Responsibilities

• Diagnose, repair, rebuild and install various dairy equipment such as pumps, separators, fans, piping, and valves on farms.
• Perform hand-on repairs and installations to ensure equipment functionality.
• Repairs and fabricates various items and equipment using cutting, burning, and welding techniques and equipment.
• Operates agricultural equipment to include, but not limited to telehandlers, lifts, excavators, loaders, skidsteers, trucks, and trailers.
• Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• You should be mechanically-inclined with a background in farming, welding, or construction preferred.
• You should have a clean driving record as well as a valid driver's license.
• Able to pass a drug screen, as we do pre-employment and random testing.
• Comfortable working in rural areas and all types of weather conditions.
• Due to the nature of work, you may occasionally be on-call for service and repairs.

Physical Requirements

• Must have physical strength, balance, hand-eye coordination, and stamina necessary to complete jobs in various areas.
• Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 pounds and push and/or pull 50-pound loads at a time.
