Job summary

Tuftco Finishing Systems, Inc. is seeking two Field Service Technicians in Dalton, GA to perform mechanical service and repairs with welding, fabrication, and millwright skills. You will service and install equipment, identify issues, and implement solutions under the Field Service Supervisor.

Expect substantial weekly hours and travel. The role offers hourly pay of $20–$30, based on experience, plus overtime, insurance, 401(k), paid holidays and PTO.

Pay: $20-$30 per hour, based on experience

Reports to: Field Service Supervisor

Tuftco Finishing Systems, Inc. is seeking two Field Service Technicians with welding, fabrication, millwright, and mechanical troubleshooting experience. We are ready to hire as soon as qualified candidates are identified.

Responsibilities

• Perform mechanical service, troubleshooting, and equipment repairs.
• Apply welding, fabrication, and millwright skills to service and installation work.
• Identify mechanical problems and implement effective solutions.
• Coordinate service assignments with the Field Service Supervisor.
• Follow established safety procedures and safe work practices.

• Availability to meet the schedule and travel requirements below.

Work Schedule and Travel

This position requires substantial weekly hours and frequent seven-day workweeks. Candidates should expect:

• A minimum of 50 hours per week.
• Approximately 70 hours per week during 90% of working weeks.
• Seven-day workweeks during the majority of the year.
• Travel outside the local area approximately 20% of the time.
