Rise Technical Recruitment Ltd is seeking a Field Service Technician to join a growing refrigeration and HVAC team in Texas. You will be deployed across Texas, performing installation, maintenance and repair of large-scale refrigeration and HVAC systems, with regional travel and occasional overnight stays.

You will gain advanced technical certifications (CO2, laser alignment, vibration analysis) through mentorship, with a clear path to Senior Technician and Supervisor for those who excel.

Qualifications

• Comfortable working on customer sites with safety compliance.

Responsibilities

• Cover Texas with field service support, including travel and occasional overnight stays.

• Perform mechanical/electrical diagnostics and preventive maintenance; document activity.
• Allocate 40 hours per week with overtime potential.

Are you a Field Service Technician, Refrigeration Technician or HVAC Technician looking to level up technically through mentorship and industry certifications, while joining a business that is growing fast due to demand?

On offer is a full-time, permanent role where you will be supported by senior technicians and developed through certifications (CO2, laser alignment, vibration analysis) with a clear route to Senior Technician and then Supervisor for those who want it.

This is a well-established specialist refrigeration and HVAC contractor, known for building and growing a dedicated service division. Due to continued growth and workload, they are expanding the team.

In this role you will install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair large-capacity commercial and industrial refrigeration systems across Texas, carrying out diagnostics on mechanical/electrical components, planned maintenance, and documenting service activity. You will be field-based from home with regional travel and occasional overnight stays (up to a week).

This role would suit a technician with industrial refrigeration experience looking for advanced technical development, recognized certifications, and a long-term path forward in a growing service team.

The Role:

• Field service covering Texas (home-based) with regional travel and occasional overnights
• Install, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain industrial refrigeration & HVAC systems
• Mechanical/electrical diagnostics, preventive maintenance, and service documentation
• 40 hours per week with overtime available

The Person:

• Field Service / Refrigeration / HVAC technician with heavy industrial refrigeration experience (approx. 4+ years)
• Experience with large-capacity refrigeration systems (ammonia, CO2, Freon preferred)
• Comfortable reading technical drawings/service manuals and working safely on customer sites
