Job summary

Accel Entertainment is seeking dedicated Accel Technicians to deliver on-site support and repair services for gaming terminals and ATMs across Illinois. Technicians will work 40 hours per week in various venues including bars and restaurants, and enjoy a competitive pay range, starting from $18.00 up to $30.00 per hour based on experience.

The role of an Accel Technician involves delivering on‑site support and repair services for gaming terminals, ATMs, amusement, and redemption equipment across Illinois venues.

Position Basics

• Field technicians working 40 hours per week in venues such as bars, restaurants, gas stations, truck stops, etc.
• Multiple service positions available across Illinois.
• Pay range $18–$30 per hour, based on experience and proficiency.
• On‑site shift starts from home.
• Company‑supplied vehicle and fuel card.
• Shift differentials for weekends and 2nd/3rd shifts.
• Training provided for inexperienced candidates.

Base Pay Range

$18.00 - $30.00 per hour, based on experience.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Great customer service skills.
• Strong organizational, problem‑solving, and analytical skills.
• Ability to communicate effectively and follow written or verbal instruction.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Minimum age 21.
• Physical ability to lift/push weights up to 50 pounds.
• Terminal handler’s license (cost covered by company).
• Relevant experience preferred but not required (e.g., HVAC, low voltage, cable, phone, internet, automotive).
• Computer literacy helpful but not required.

Duties And Responsibilities

• Respond to and troubleshoot service calls for equipment repairs in a timely manner.
• Interact with clerks, restaurant staff, management, and customers to resolve issues as they arise.
• Provide exemplary customer service.
• Manage inventory to ensure parts are available when needed.
• Complete all necessary documentation for device entry and logs.
• Perform auditing procedures on slot machines, amusement devices, dispensers, and ATMs.
