Job summary

MasterTech in Chicago, IL seeks Field Service Technicians with Sheetfed, Komori, Heidelberg experience to install and support printing production equipment. This role requires extensive travel to customer sites and occasional on-call duties.

You will diagnose, repair, and maintain mechanical and electrical systems, document issues, and provide clear communication to clients. Day shift with overtime; other locations considered.

Qualifications

• Experience in industrial, manufacturing, and/or mechanical maintenance is preferred.
• Printing or related packaging experience in PrePress and/or PostPress machinery is preferred.
• Experience with electrical systems (AC/DC; three-phase wiring) is advantageous.
• Servicing electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic and mechanical systems is beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Install and support mechanical and electrical components on-site to ensure machinery is operational.
• Maintain, diagnose, and repair equipment; report issues and complete documentation.

MasterTech is on the search for Industrial Technicians with Sheetfed, Komori, Heidelberg, or related -experience onlabel and printing production equipment based out of Chicago IL, requiring extensive travel to customer locations. Other locations will be considered

Compensation:

• $30.00 - $45.00/hour
• Paid Time Off, Sick Time and Vacation
• Matching 401(k) etc.

Shift:

• Day shift, Monday to Friday with ample overtime + occasional on-call.

Field Service Techs will be responsible for the on-site installation and support of mechanical and electrical components and systems, ensuring the machinery is properly installed and operational.

Detail-oriented FieldService Techs are responsible for the on-site maintenance, diagnostics, and repair of machinery along with reporting issues and completing documentation.

Key Qualifications:

• Experience in industrial, manufacturing, and/or any kind of mechanical maintenance is preferred.
• Previous Printing or Related packaging experience in PrePress and/or PostPress machinery
• Experience with electrical systems is a definite asset; AC & DC as well as three-phase wiring.
• Basic to advanced level experience servicing electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and mechanical systems.
• Excellent customer service skills and communication.
• Exceptional problem solving, troubleshooting, diagnosis and documentation.
