Job summary

MasterTech in Chicago IL is seeking Industrial Technicians with Gallus-specific experience on label and packaging production equipment to join our field service team. The role requires extensive travel to customer locations to install and support equipment.

Field Service Techs will perform on-site installation, maintenance, diagnostics, and repair of mechanical and electrical components, ensuring systems are properly installed and operational.

Qualifications

• Experience in industrial, manufacturing, and/or mechanical maintenance.
• Experience with Corrugated machinery (Prepress and/or PostPress).
• Experience with electrical systems including AC, DC, and three-phase wiring.
• Basic to advanced servicing of electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and mechanical systems.
• Excellent customer service skills and communication.
• Strong problem solving, troubleshooting, diagnosis and documentation.

Shift:

• Day shift, Monday to Friday with ample overtime + occasional on-call.

MasterTech is on the search for Industrial Technicians with Gallus-specific experience onlabel and packaging production equipment based out of Chicago IL, requiring extensive travel to customer locations.

Field Service Techs will be responsible for the on-site installation and support of mechanical and electrical components and systems, ensuring the machinery is properly installed and operational.

Detail-oriented FieldService Techs are responsible for the on-site maintenance, diagnostics, and repair of machinery along with reporting issues and completing documentation.

Key Qualifications:

• Experience in industrial, manufacturing, and/or any kind of mechanical maintenance is preferred.
• Previous Corrugated experience in Prepres and/or PostPress machinery
• Experience with electrical systems is a definite asset; AC & DC as well as three-phase wiring.
• Basic to advanced level experience servicing electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and mechanical systems.
• Excellent customer service skills and communication.
• Exceptional problem solving, troubleshooting, diagnosis and documentation.
