Field Service Technician (Remote+Travel)

About The Job:

The Field Service Technician provides 24/7 on-call field service, troubleshooting, and training at customer locations for mechanical, electrical, and electronic components such as decanters, high-speed separators, or heat exchangers. Responsibilities include performing preventive maintenance, emergency and warranty repairs, and managing travel costs.

This is a remote position based in Greenwood, IN.

Responsibilities include:

• Troubleshoot and repair mechanical and electrical equipment.
• Install, startup, and shut down equipment safely per OSHA standards.
• Perform trial test runs to ensure performance.
• Document services and parts used.
• Advise operators and maintenance personnel on operating procedures.
• Perform preventive maintenance.
• Assist and train customer personnel in troubleshooting and operation.

Requirements:

• Associates degree or BS in Engineering or related experience.
• Minimum 2 years relevant experience, with knowledge of separators, PLCs, and mechanical/electrical systems.
• Strong teamwork, communication, problem-solving, and customer focus skills.
