The Field Service Technician will be based out of our Charlotte, North Carolina office and is responsible for providing on-site client installation, repairs, and maintenance of their HVAC, Refrigeration, and cooking equipment.

Responsibilities:
  • Equipment Repair and Maintenance: Diagnose, repair, and maintain a wide range of commercial kitchen equipment, including ovens, walk-in coolers/freezers, dish machines, fryers, mixers, tilt skillets, and HVAC systems.
  • Support the client: Oversee all network services and perform tests on equipment and circuits. Troubleshoot issues and resolve any requests or concerns that come up in a timely manner. Perform tests to ensure systems are error-free. Maintain relationships with customers and follow company guidelines.
  • Troubleshooting: Identify and troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and gas-related issues with commercial kitchen equipment.

Requirements:
  • High school diploma or GED required; bachelor's degree or certification preferred.
  • Experience: a minimum of 2-5 years in repairing and maintaining commercial kitchen equipment.
  • Ability to build strong relationships with the customer and display excellent communication skills.
  • Ability to manage your workflow in a timely and consistent manner.
  • Ability to lift up to 55 pounds.
  • Problem-solving skills and mechanical aptitude.
  • Preferred relevant certifications such as EPA 608, CFESA (Commercial Food Equipment Service Associate) in gas, electrical, steam, refrigeration, or electrical.
  • Must have a valid driver's license with a clean driving record as outlined in our company policy.
  • Must be able to pass a satisfactory background and drug screening.
  • Computer skills including Microsoft Office.
  • Knowledgeable about all safety requirements.
