Job description

What You Will Do:

  1. Attend and present in daily morning operations meetings.

  2. Perform moderately complex customer support activities, including installations, routine repairs, and maintenance of chemical injection pumps and accessories.

  3. Assemble different parts of manufactured products using hand tools, power tools, machines, and equipment.

  4. Inspect all materials, components, subassemblies, etc. to assure they meet the accepted quality standards.

  5. Read and follow work instructions, work orders, production drawings, and sample assemblies, or receive verbal instructions regarding duties to be performed.

  6. Process and submit customer service transactions such as service tickets accurately.

  7. Provide accurate and timely information regarding availability of in-stock items.

  8. Answer basic inquiries from customers providing basic technical product and applications support.

  9. Refer customers to local sales representatives for further sales & service requests.

  10. Drive a company vehicle and make deliveries to customer locations.

  11. May support field sales activities.

  12. Obtain signatures for deliveries made, as required.

  13. Work alone and/or under general supervision.

  14. Develop good working relationships with customers through frequent and professional written and verbal communication.

  15. Communicate professionally & effectively with customers when delivering both good and bad information.

  16. Know and comply with all safety policies and procedures.

  17. Work unconventional hours and potentially weekends to provide our required level of service on occasion.

  18. Attend work in a predictable and regular manner.

Position Details:

  1. Candidate must reside in Casper, WY or surrounding areas.

  2. Work week and shift: Monday through Friday from 7AM to 4:30PM, some overtime and weekend work may occasionally be required.

  3. Compensation package offered: Competitive hourly rate and eligibility for quarterly bonus.

  4. New hire training provided by local personnel.

  5. May travel by air to headquarters locations in Houston, TX.

  6. Must have valid US driver license.

  7. Must have an acceptable driving record (MVR).

  8. Must have DOT medical certification.

Minimum Qualifications:

  1. High School Diploma or GED.

  2. Vocational/Technical training or certification, or equivalent experience.

  3. 2 years of assembly, installations, repair of chemical injection pumps or similar products.

  4. 2 years of experience performing moderately complex installations independently.

  5. 2 years of experience in strong customer service relations, including the ability to explain and train.

  6. Basic knowledge of industrial safety, proper hand and power tool use, and other motorized material movement equipment.

  7. Motor vehicle records must meet the standards for the company vehicle driving policy.

  8. Must meet DOT physical requirements and training.

  9. Able to lift at least 40lbs.

  10. Proficient in MS Outlook and Excel.

  11. High mechanical aptitude.

  12. High accuracy in data entry.

  13. Strong interpersonal skills to effectively interact with customers and various levels of management.

  14. Excellent time management and prioritization skills with a high level of persistency in meeting delivery schedules.

  15. Basic analytical and problem-solving skills.

  16. Must be able to travel daily away from the shop up to 90% of the time.

  17. Speak, read and write English fluently.

  18. Follow all safety policies and company-wide safety requirements.

  19. Predictably and regularly attend work and be punctual.

Physical Demands:

  1. Role is deemed safety-sensitive and may be subject to employer or customer drug testing.

  2. Minimal crawling, climbing stairs, balancing, using a keyboard, and dialing less than 10%.

  3. Occasional bending, crouching, kneeling, squatting, climbing ladders, lifting up to 40lbs, reaching, twisting, stretching, pushing, pulling, standing, writing, and speaking between 11% - 33%.

  4. Frequent handling (grasping, holding, turning, working with hands), fingering (picking, pinching, fine manipulation), sitting, walking, and driving between 33% - 66%.

  5. Constant seeing and hearing greater than 66%.

Preferred Qualifications:

  1. Vocational/Technical training or certification.

  2. 5 years of experience in oil and gas field installation of chemical injection pumps or similar products.

  3. 5 years performing moderately complex installations independently.

  4. 5 years of experience in strong customer service relations; including the ability to explain and train.

  5. High level of analytical and problem-solving skills.
