Job summary

Sammons Industrial is seeking an experienced equipment technician to diagnose, repair, and maintain material handling equipment across customer sites or shop environments.

You will work on engines, hydraulics, electrical systems, and transmissions, performing advanced repairs, rebuilds, inspections, and preventive maintenance with safety and quality in mind.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of equipment repair experience with strong mechanical, diagnostic, and problem-solving skills.
• High school diploma or GED, valid driver’s license, and certification on 75% of the designated product line.
• Strong customer service skills and a commitment to teamwork and safety.
• Technical certifications and welding experience are a plus.
• Ability to lift up to 75 pounds, provide your own tools, work at customer sites or in a shop, and participate in on-call rotations.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair engines, hydraulics, electrical systems, transmissions, and other equipment components.
