Job summary

Zest Technical Solutions is seeking an on-site UPS/critical power technician to service live data center environments in the Atlanta area. Expect extensive manufacturer-led training on Vertiv, Eaton, and Delta equipment while building specialist skills and earnings potential.

Role involves installing, commissioning, maintaining UPS systems, diagnosing faults, and performing preventive maintenance with overtime opportunities to boost earnings.

Qualifications

• Experience servicing or installing UPS or critical power equipment.
• Ability to read schematics and troubleshoot to component level.
• Knowledge of electrical safety standards (NFPA 70E) and OSHA certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Install, commission and maintain UPS systems and battery banks in data center environments.
• Carry out preventive maintenance, testing and start-ups.
• Diagnose and resolve faults, including emergency call-outs.
• Follow procedures in live critical environments (MOPs/SOPs).
• Complete service reports and keep customers informed.

What we're looking for

• Experience servicing or installing UPS or critical power equipment
• A strong electrical background, with the ability to read schematics and troubleshoot to component level
• Knowledge of electrical safety (NFPA 70E), plus OSHA 10 or 30 if you have it
• Willingness to work overtime and respond to urgent needs
• A valid driver's license and a safe, professional approach to work
• $40 to $60 per hour, based on experience
