Responsibilities

  • Install, upgrade, and maintain telecommunications systems to meet requirements.
  • Evaluate customer needs and recommend solutions.
  • Perform routine testing to ensure systems operate at peak performance.
  • Conduct diagnostic testing and troubleshooting to resolve issues.
  • Install and terminate low-voltage cabling (CAT5/CAT6), keystones, RJ45 connectors.
  • Perform basic computer networking tasks across Windows and Mac environments.
  • Order and replace components for telecommunications systems.
  • Deliver exceptional customer service with clear communication.

Position Summary:

We are a rapidly growing telecommunications company seeking a dedicated and experienced Field Service Technician to join our team. This role is responsible for the installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of customers' telecommunications systems within correctional facilities. The ideal candidate will possess strong technical expertise, excellent problem-solving skills, and a commitment to delivering outstanding customer service while working in a secure correctional environment. This position requires regular travel, including occasional travel to remote locations such as Nome, Bethel, and Palmer, to provide on-site installation, maintenance, and technical support. The successful candidate must be comfortable traveling independently and working in diverse environments to support our customers' operational needs.

Key Responsibilities-
