Job summary

JMJ PHILLIP is seeking a technically skilled Technical Support and Field Service Representative to provide on-site and remote assistance, troubleshoot equipment and systems, and ensure reliable performance for customers.

You will travel to customer sites to inspect, diagnose, repair, and install equipment, document service activities, train users, and collaborate with engineering and manufacturing to resolve issues and improve products.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Electrical/Mechanical/Industrial Technology or related technical field preferred.
• Several years of experience in technical support, field service, equipment maintenance, or industrial systems.
• Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic skills.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, manuals, schematics, and specifications.
• Strong mechanical, electrical, electronic, or automation knowledge as applicable.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple service requests.
• Willingness to travel to customer locations as required.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to travel for field assignments.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical assistance to customers through phone, email, remote support, and on-site visits.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot equipment, system, and operational issues.
• Guide customers through troubleshooting procedures and recommend appropriate solutions.
• Document technical issues, resolutions, and service activities.
• Travel to customer locations to perform inspections, diagnostics, repairs, maintenance, and installations.
• Commission and test equipment and systems to ensure proper operation.
• Identify equipment issues and perform corrective actions efficiently.
• Provide emergency and scheduled service support as required.
• Build and maintain positive relationships with customers.
• Communicate technical information clearly to both technical and non-technical users.
• Coordinate service activities and follow up to ensure customer concerns are resolved.
• Provide training and guidance on equipment operation and maintenance.
• Maintain accurate service reports, technical documentation, and customer records.
• Collaborate with engineering, sales, manufacturing, and other internal teams to resolve complex technical issues.
• Provide feedback on recurring equipment issues and opportunities for product or service improvements.

Education
