Job summary

BearCom is seeking a Field Service Technician I to install and support wireless communications systems. You will be at the heart of service locations, delivering expert customer service and technical solutions to meet challenging needs. Extensive on-the-job training is provided.

The role involves basic programming, installations, troubleshooting, and potential regional/overnight travel with on-call hours. A strong electronics background and a valid driver’s license are required.

Qualifications

• Basic electronics background and practical installation/repair capability.
• MS Office proficiency (Outlook, Word, Excel).
• Must hold a valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Create basic programming codeplugs (less than 12 channels).
• Perform basic mobile installations (radio, antenna, modem, DC-DC converters).
• Troubleshoot and repair defective two-way radios and other wireless equipment.
