Job summary

SPATCO is seeking an entry-level service technician trainee in Louisville, KY. This program trains and certifies you to perform routine maintenance and troubleshoot customer equipment. The company pays for training, lodging, and meals during the program.

The role involves completing on-site petroleum service calls at various locations, documenting work orders, and communicating with the dispatcher. After training, you may be on an on-call rotation and travel daily within the local area.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Valid State Issued Driver’s License with good driving record.
• Ability to work outdoors in all weather.
• Must pass a drug screen and background check.
• Daily local travel requirement.
• Lifting 50–75 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Complete petroleum service calls at retail gas stations, commercial locations, hospitals, travel stops, and government facilities.
• Complete service call paperwork after each call.
• Communicate with service dispatcher and manager.
• Explain technical issues to customers in non-technical terms.
• Troubleshoot and repair fueling equipment and POS systems.
• Install, program and test new petroleum equipment and perform scheduled maintenance.
• Analyze electrical and mechanical problems and provide repairs.
