Job summary

ANDRITZ Allen-Sherman-Hoff is a field-based role serving power plants and industrial facilities, combining hands-on equipment work with direct customer interaction and business development.

The position involves on-site diagnostics, installation support, system evaluations, and multi-day site assessments, with collaboration across Operations, Maintenance, and Engineering to deliver practical recommendations and training. Travel about 50% to sites across the U.S. is expected.

Responsibilities

• Perform on-site diagnostics and troubleshooting of ash handling and material handling systems
• Support installation, startup, shutdowns, and commissioning activities
• Evaluate existing systems (ANDRITZ and competitor equipment)
• Conduct multi-day site assessments to identify performance improvements
• Work directly with plant operations, maintenance, and engineering teams
• Deliver technical recommendations, system evaluations, and training
• Build long-term customer relationships through hands-on support
• Act as a trusted advisor in solving equipment and process challenges
• Identify and develop aftermarket service, upgrade, and parts opportunities
• Support technical proposals, scopes, and solution development
• Partner closely with Sales, Engineering, and Aftermarket teams
• Help expand ASH’s reach into new industries and applications
