Job summary

Integrated Power Services, LLC. is seeking a Field Service Technician to lead on-site diagnostics and precision repairs of industrial rotating equipment in Tukwila, WA. You will perform motor and gearbox overhauls, alignments, and testing to improve reliability and performance.

The role requires 2+ years of hands-on experience, strong measurement and reading of blueprints, and a customer-focused approach. Driver's license and flexibility for on-call hours are essential.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of hands-on experience with AC/DC motors, gearboxes, pumps, or rotating equipment.
• Ability to read and interpret precision measuring instruments and technical blueprints.
• Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to diagnose mechanical failures.
• Excellent customer-facing communication and safety mindset.
• Valid driver’s license and willingness for on-call, overtime, and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Lead installation and removal of AC/DC motors and coupled equipment, with laser alignments.
• Diagnose wear using precision tools and verify tolerances to OEM specs.
• Overhaul gearboxes, bearings, and torque-critical components with specialized tooling.
• Perform diagnostics using portable equipment (Megger, PdMA MCE, Multimeter, DLRO).
• Prepare and clean electro-mechanical equipment with bead/ice blasting and solvents.
• Maintain strict safety standards and collaborate with the team to meet project goals.
