Job summary

Kemco Facilities Services is seeking a skilled General Field Service Technician to join our Miami, Florida team. The role requires proficiency in plumbing, electrical systems, general construction, and handyman tasks, with laminate countertop installation/repair as a plus.

Strong troubleshooting and customer-service orientation are essential. You will service retail stores, banks, restaurants, and healthcare facilities, performing diagnostics, maintenance, and timely repairs while ensuring

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; technical or vocational training in plumbing, electrical, construction, or related field preferred.
• 2–5 years in plumbing, electrical, construction, or handyman work; laminate countertop experience a plus.
• Valid driver’s license with clean record; ability to pass background screening.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, repair, and maintain plumbing, electrical, and general construction systems; perform laminate countertop repairs or installations as needed.
• Identify and resolve issues in plumbing, electrical, and structural components for lasting repairs.
• Perform routine preventive maintenance to keep systems operating efficiently.
• Communicate repair procedures and solutions clearly to clients, aiming to minimize downtime.
• Adhere to safety regulations and industry standards on all work.
• Maintain detailed service records and submit reports and invoices promptly.
• Track tools and inventory; order supplies as needed.
