Job summary

AMAROK, a nationwide leader in perimeter security solutions, seeks a Field Service Technician to perform preventive maintenance, repairs, and upgrades at customer sites. The role requires Monday–Friday travel within a 150–250 mile service radius, ensuring system reliability and customer satisfaction across our nationwide footprint.

Qualifications

• Must be available to travel Monday–Friday weekly.
• Valid Driver's License is required.
• 2+ years hands-on experience troubleshooting and installing systems (access control and/or fire alarms a plus).
• OSHA certification and/or familiarity with OSHA compliance is preferred.
• Ability to lift and maneuver heavy objects and safely climb a ladder up to 30 ft.
• Operate various power equipment (aerial lifts, concrete saws, jack hammers, augers, mixers).
• Strong analytical and troubleshooting abilities; basic math skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, repairs, and system upgrades at customer sites following SOPs.
• Assist Install Department with site planning, inspections, and commissioning after construction.
• Prioritize and route daily service calls to ensure timely completion of maintenance and repairs.
• Build strong relationships with customers by delivering excellent service, training, and support.
• Support fellow Field Service Technicians to share knowledge and improve operations.
• Drive safely and comply with traffic laws to reach service locations efficiently.
• Track inventory, complete service reports, and submit documentation on time.
• Submit expense reports in line with company policies.
