Job summary

Abel Womack is seeking skilled Field Service Technicians to support material handling equipment in Amesbury, MA. You will travel within a defined territory to install, maintain, and repair Raymond battery-powered lift trucks and related systems.

Qualifications

Diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical equipment with emphasis on quality and efficiency.
Experience with electrical fuel systems, sensor technology, hydraulics, PLCs, or charging systems is a plus.
Ability to read schematics, maps, blueprints and manuals.
Regular communication with team, parts reps, technicians, dispatch and customers is required.
Maintain professional demeanor and build positive customer relationships with excellent service.
Provide basic mechanic tools; specialty tools are supplied by the company.
Must have a valid driver’s license and good driving record.
Ability to lift up to 75 lbs regularly.

Responsibilities

Travel within an assigned territory to install, maintain, and repair Raymond battery-powered lift trucks and related equipment.
Troubleshoot and resolve equipment challenges directly with customers.
Apply and grow mechanical and technical skills through ongoing training.
Submit electronic work orders using a company tablet.
Represent Abel Womack with professionalism and customer service.
