Job summary

JDC Power Systems, LLC is seeking a skilled Industrial Controls & Switchgear Service Specialist to perform on-site service for transformers, circuit breakers, and LV/MV switchgear. You will diagnose faults, support PLC-controlled processes, and ensure safety and reliability of power systems.

The role requires hands-on troubleshooting, field service experience, and the ability to communicate clearly with customers. Travel is frequent across customer sites and JDC locations nationwide.

Qualifications

• Education and certifications as listed in the job ad.
• 3–5 years in field service focused on power systems, electrical equipment, or industrial controls.
• Hands-on troubleshooting and repair of transformers and breakers.

Responsibilities

• On-site service for transformers, circuit breakers, and LV/MV switchgear.
• System diagnostics to pinpoint faults and minimize downtime.
• Startup and commissioning support to validate performance.
