Job summary

Renewance, Inc. is seeking a Field Service Technician to provide on-site technical support for industrial batteries used in energy storage and EV applications.

You will diagnose and resolve issues, assist in commissioning and maintenance, and travel 75%+ to customer sites to ensure top-tier service. The role requires technical or trade education and hands-on field experience, with emphasis on safety and customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Technical or Trade degree, High School diploma, GED, or equivalent work experience.
• 1+ experience as a field service technician in electrical power generation, renewable energy spaces, or similar.
• Experience with computers and installation of controls related firmware and software.
• Fluent with Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide on-site technical support for customer projects, ensuring efficient execution of day-to-day activities.
• Support commissioning of battery systems and correct battery related performance issues.
• Assist in decommissioning of battery systems and sites, including site maintenance and removal of equipment.
• Act as on-site EHS representative ensuring OSHA and regulatory compliance.
• Serve as escalation point for field service issues and strive for excellent customer service.
• Collaborate to adopt new tools/technologies for field operations.
