Job summary

Renewance is seeking a Field Service Technician to install, commission, diagnose, maintain, repair, and decommission industrial battery and energy storage systems. The role requires 75%+ travel to customer sites across the region.

You will work hands-on with battery systems, support testing and balancing, and ensure conformance to OSHA and safety standards while delivering excellent on-site service and documentation.

Qualifications

• 1+ year of field service, electrical power, renewable energy, industrial electrical, or similar experience.
• Electrical or technical troubleshooting experience.
• Experience with controls, firmware, software, or diagnostic tools preferred.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Safety-focused, dependable, and willing to learn.
• Ability to lift 50+ lbs and work outdoors in varying conditions.
• Ability and willingness to travel 75%+.

Position Summary

The Field Service Technician provides hands‑on technical support for industrial battery and energy storage systems, including installation, commissioning, troubleshooting, maintenance, repair, and decommissioning. This role requires 75%+ regional travel to customer sites.
