Job summary

Sunbelt Rentals is seeking an EMS Road Technician 2 to travel to customer sites, diagnose and repair a range of EMS equipment including hydraulic excavators, haulers, wheeled loaders, and more. You will troubleshoot complex systems, fabricate parts as needed, and ensure safe, compliant operation on-site.

Responsibilities include diagnosing electrical and engine systems, using OEM and aftermarket diagnostic tools, and communicating issues to customers and supervisors to ensure satisfaction.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• MACS or equivalent air conditioning training/certification.
• Must own and safely use mechanic’s tools and equipment.

Responsibilities

• Repair and service equipment to ensure proper operation at job sites.
• Diagnose complex mechanical and electrical problems on EMS equipment.
• Fabricate parts and perform cutting/welding to meet needs.
• Interpret wiring diagrams and diagnostic software outputs for accurate diagnosis.
• Communicate issues clearly to customers and supervisor.
