Job summary

Sunbelt Rentals, Inc. seeks a Road Mechanic to perform preventive maintenance, diagnostics, and repairs on a diverse fleet including aerial work platforms, pumps and HVAC gear. You will work across different locations, developing skills for a service or operations management career while joining an experienced, safety-driven team.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED, 3–5 years of diesel/heavy equipment experience, and a valid driver's license. CDL may be required at certain locations.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; trade school or equivalent training desired.
• 3–5 years of mechanic experience with diesel equipment, heavy construction equipment or specialty lines equipment strongly preferred.
• Valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record; CDL may be required in some locations.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance, diagnostics and repairs on equipment in a safe, efficient manner.
• Work on a variety of makes, models and equipment in challenging remote locations.
• Contribute to a safety-focused team environment and adhere to Sunbelt Rentals’ policies.
