Job summary

Sunbelt Rentals is seeking an EMS Road Technician 2 to travel to customer job sites and diagnose, repair, and optimize a range of EMS equipment. You will represent the company professionally and ensure equipment operates safely and efficiently.

The role requires 4+ years of earth-moving equipment experience and the ability to read complex schematics. Candidates must have a valid driver’s license and MACS or equivalent AC training. A strong safety mindset and reliable communication are essential.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• 4+ years of Earth Moving equipment experience preferred.
• Must have a valid driver's license and clean driving record.
• MACS or equivalent air conditioning training/certification.
• Ability to read complex electrical schematics and diagnose issues.

Responsibilities

• Services and oversees repairs at the job site to ensure proper operation.
• Diagnoses complex mechanical problems and performs on-site repairs.
• Fabricates parts and equipment as needed (torch cutting and welding).
• Interprets engine, transmission, hydraulic, and emissions systems.
• Communicates equipment issues with customers and supervisor.
• Adheres to safety requirements and participates in branch meetings.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
