Job summary

Sunbelt Rentals is seeking a Road Mechanic to perform preventive maintenance, diagnostics and repairs on a diverse fleet in challenging locations. You will work with a safety‑first team across aerial platforms, pumps and HVAC equipment.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED, 3–5 years of diesel/heavy equipment experience, and a valid driver’s license. CDL may be required in some locations; bilingual ability may help depending on location.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; some trade training desired.
• 3–5 years of mechanic experience with diesel or heavy equipment preferred.
• Valid driver’s license; CDL may be required in some locations.
• May need to provide mechanic’s tools of the trade.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance, diagnostics and repairs on equipment.
• Work on a variety of makes and models in challenging locations; ensure safety.
