Job summary

Sunbelt Rentals seeks a Road Mechanic to maintain a diverse fleet and perform preventive maintenance, diagnostics and repairs to minimize downtime. You’ll work in a safety-focused environment with a strong team, across various makes and equipment in challenging remote locations.

Ideal candidates have 3–5 years of diesel/heavy equipment experience, a high school diploma or GED, and a valid CDL where required. Full benefits, on-the-job training, and growth opportunities are available.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; trade school training preferred.
• 3–5 years of mechanic experience with diesel or heavy equipment strongly preferred.
• Valid driver’s license; CDL may be required in some locations.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance to minimize downtime.
• Diagnose issues and repair equipment safely and efficiently.
• Work on a variety of makes and models in remote locations.
• Maintain a safe, team-oriented work environment.
