Job summary

Sabre Industries, Inc. is seeking a Field Services Technician in Bossier City, Louisiana. This role involves planning and executing repairs in the field, installing and troubleshooting equipment. Candidates should have a high school diploma and at least three months of related experience.

Scope Of Responsibility

Field Services Technician is responsible for the planning and execution of the repairs and completion of projects in the field.

Essential Duties

• Install, maintain, and troubleshoot equipment mechanically and electrically.
• Demonstrate proficiency in accurately and efficiently diagnosing and repairing equipment problems.
• Follow all DOT compliance laws and complete logbooks when under DOT regulations.
• Test equipment to ensure proper function.
• Provide daily reports and communicate to Field Services Supervisors.
• Perform duties consistent with established safety and quality procedures, rules, and standards.
• Perform other miscellaneous duties as assigned.

Position Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum 3 months related work experience.
• Working knowledge of basic hand tools.
• Valid Class D chauffeur’s license.
• Familiarity with mechanical, electrical, and/or wire installation.
• Ability to travel extensively across the United States.
• Ability to work efficiently without supervision and be self‑motivated.
• Ability to read and understand instructions.
• Working knowledge of basic math skills.
• Ability to read a tape measure and understand blueprints.
• Must be able to pass a background check and DOT certification.

Physical Requirements

• Lift up to 50 pounds.
• Perform physical activities that require considerable use of arms and legs, such as climbing, lifting, balancing, walking, stooping, bending, twisting, and handling materials.
• Work in an outside manufacturing environment for long shifts, including weekends.
• Require manual dexterity, arm‑hand steadiness, and a safety‑minded attitude.
• Work in an open environment exposed to extreme temperatures.
• Concentrate on tasks for long periods of time and observe and receive information from all relevant sources.
