Job summary

Sabre Industries, Inc. is seeking a capable manufacturing worker to support our shelter production line. You will perform wiring installation, waveguide setup, and grounding tasks while following safety and quality standards.

Experience reading blueprints and using basic hand tools is important, with on-the-job training provided. The role requires physical work in an outdoor manufacturing environment and weekend shifts may be required.

Qualifications

• Experience reading blueprints and interpreting project instructions.
• Ability to read a tape measure accurately.
• Working knowledge of basic math and measurement.

Responsibilities

• Performs duties consistent with established safety and quality procedures, rules, and standards.
• Review project instructions and blueprints.
• Installs wire throughout the shelter.
• Installs waveguides.
• Completes grounding and bonding operations.
• Performs other miscellaneous duties as assigned.

Scope Of Responsibility

Responsible for the execution of the productivity of the department. Ensure the overall efficacy of the department and assist the supervisor with day-to-day operation.

Essential Duties

• Performs duties consistent with established safety and quality procedures, rules, and standards
• Review project instructions and blueprints
• Installs wire throughout the shelter
• Installs waveguides
• Completes all grounding and bonding operations
• Performs other miscellaneous duties as assigned
• Additional duties as assigned

Position Requirements

• Training in vocational schools, or related on-the-job experience.
• Working knowledge of basic hand tools
• Ability to read blueprints
• Must be familiar with different size bolts/nuts
• Must be able to work efficiently without supervision
• Must be able to read and understand instructions
• Must have a working knowledge of basic math skills
• Must be able to read a tape measure and understand instructions.
• Ability to pay close attention to detail

Physical Requirements

• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds
• Must be able to perform physical activities that require considerable use of arms and legs and moving entire body, such as climbing, lifting, balancing, walking, stooping, bending, twisting and handling of materials
• Must be able to work in an outside manufacturing environment for long shifts, including weekends
• Position requires manual dexterity, arm-hand steadiness, and a safety-minded individual
• Must be able to work in an open environment exposed to extreme temperatures
• Must have the ability to concentrate on tasks for long periods of time and be able to observe and receive information from all relevant sources
