Job summary

Ohio CAT is seeking a Field Service Technician to diagnose, repair, and maintain Caterpillar machines in the field. You will service dozers, excavators, wheel loaders, and haul trucks, delivering top-tier service that keeps customers moving.

Requirements include a high school diploma or GED with a 2-year diesel/power program, plus at least 3 years of hands-on experience and a CDL with the ability to obtain a DOT Medical Card. You will work from a service vehicle and follow safety protocols.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED plus a two-year technical program in diesel or power equipment.
• Minimum of 3 years of relevant industry experience.
• CDL with an acceptable driving record and ability to obtain a DOT Medical Card.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair heavy Caterpillar equipment in the field.
• Perform routine and complex repairs, inspect and maintain equipment.
• Maintain detailed service records and adhere to safety protocols.
• Collaborate with technicians on complex repairs.
