Job summary

INNIO Group is seeking an Electro-Mechanical Field Service Technician in Midland, TX, to support Jenbacher gas engines and energy solutions. You will perform hands-on service, troubleshooting, maintenance, and overhauls in a fast-paced field setting.

Ideal candidates bring field service experience, strong troubleshooting skills, and a valid driver's license, willing to travel up to 80% with overnight stays.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
• Willingness to travel up to 80% with overnight stays.
• Prior field technician experience in power generation or diesel engines.
• Ability to work remotely as needed.

Responsibilities

• Perform hands-on service on Jenbacher gas engines, replacing filters, inspections, and measurements.
• Execute minor repairs and address issues beyond planned maintenance.
• Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and electronic failures; analyze engine data.
• Coordinate with third-party suppliers as needed.
• Collaborate with colleagues, subcontractors, and customers, independently or as a team.
• Communicate planned service activities and maintenance progress.
• Own assigned sites and customers to maximize engine reliability and service quality.
• Prepare detailed technical reports with actions, materials, and follow-up recommendations.
• Maintain tools, spare parts, and company vehicles in good condition.
• Complete timesheets, expense reports, EHS forms, and job reports promptly.
• Adhere to Environmental Health and Safety policies.
