Job summary

INNIO Group is seeking an Electro-Mechanical Field Service Technician to support Jenbacher gas engines on customer sites. You’ll perform hands-on maintenance, troubleshooting, commissioning, and overhauls across mechanical and electrical systems in a fast-paced field environment.

Expect up to 80% travel, including overnight stays; valid driver's license is required. You will join a safety‑driven team that emphasizes reliability, quality service, and strong customer focus.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
• Willingness to travel up to 80% including overnight stays.
• Legal authorization to work in the U.S. (no visa sponsorship available).

Responsibilities

• Perform hands-on service activities according to engine maintenance protocols (e.g., replacing filters, conducting inspections, taking measurements).
• Execute minor repairs and address issues beyond planned maintenance.
• Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and electronic failures, analyze historical engine data, and propose solutions.
• Coordinate with third-party suppliers as needed.
• Collaborate effectively with colleagues, subcontractors, and customers—both independently and as part of a team.
• Communicate planned service activities and provide maintenance progress updates.
• Take ownership of assigned sites and customers, proactively working to maximize engine reliability and great customer service.
• Prepare detailed technical reports, including actions taken, materials used, and recommendations for follow-up.
• Maintain tools, critical spare parts, and company vehicles in good condition.
