Job summary

Polytec Inc., a subsidiary of Chemtrade, seeks an experienced Field Service Technician based in Nebraska to maintain, install, and upgrade equipment at customer sites across the Midwest. You will configure hardware/software after installations, perform routine maintenance, test equipment, and document repairs.

This role requires teaching customers how to use equipment and managing parts stock. Expect 75% overnight travel within the territory, exposure to high-temperature plant environments, and

Qualifications

Must have a strong maintenance background with at least 5 years' experience.
Must like to work with people and have good communication skills.
Must be service oriented and respond to customer needs.
Overnight travel within assigned territory is required over 75% of the time.
Must live in Nebraska.

Responsibilities

Maintaining, Installing or upgrading equipment in various field locations
Configuring hardware and software components after installation
Performing routine maintenance on technology equipment
Testing equipment to troubleshoot the issues
Documenting installation and repairsMaintaining all tools and equipment used during service calls
Teaching customers how to use the equipment properly
Managing the stock of replacement parts and equipment
