Job summary

OTC Industrial Technologies in Tucson, AZ seeks a Service Technician to service, troubleshoot, and repair air compressors, pumps, gearboxes and other rotating equipment. You will diagnose issues, propose fixes to improve reliability and efficiency, and maintain accurate service reports.

You’ll work with a supportive team, use a company vehicle, receive ongoing training through the Air Academy, and have opportunities for advancement as you build your career with OTC.

Qualifications

• Mechanical aptitude is required to service rotating equipment.
• Good communication skills for customer interactions.
• Self-starter with organized work habits and reliability.
• Coachable attitude and eagerness to learn new procedures.

Responsibilities

• Service, troubleshoot, and repair air compressors, pumps, gearboxes, and other rotating equipment.
• Diagnose issues and recommend solutions to improve reliability and efficiency.
• Identify and sell repairs, upgrades, and preventive maintenance.
• Complete accurate service reports and maintain compliance.
• Keep your service vehicle stocked with tools and parts.
• Respond to urgent calls and minimize downtime.
• Represent OTC professionally and build strong customer relationships.
• Follow safety protocols and stay current through ongoing training.
• Handle emergency service calls with speed and precision to keep operations moving.
• Be flexible and ready to take on additional responsibilities as needed.
