Job summary

OTC Industrial Technologies is seeking a Service Technician to service and repair air compressors, pumps, and related equipment. You will diagnose issues, recommend improvements, and perform preventive maintenance while maintaining strong customer relationships.

The role offers a company-provided vehicle, ongoing Air Academy and supplier training, and advancement opportunities as many service managers started as techs. A valid driver's license and ability to pass checks are required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Mechanical aptitude; multi-craft experience a plus.
• Experience with rotary screw, oil-free and/or oil-flooded air compressor service preferred.
• Strong communication skills required.
• Valid driver's license; ability to pass drug test and background check.
• Physical ability to sit, stand, and bend for extended periods.
• Coachable and eager to learn.

Responsibilities

• Service, troubleshoot, and repair air compressors, pumps, gearboxes, and other rotating equipment.
• Diagnose issues and recommend solutions to improve reliability and efficiency.
• Identify and sell repairs, upgrades, and preventive maintenance.
• Complete accurate service reports and maintain compliance.
• Keep your service vehicle stocked with tools and parts.
• Respond to urgent calls and minimize downtime.
• Represent OTC professionally and build strong customer relationships.
• Follow safety protocols and stay current through ongoing training.
• Handle emergency service calls with speed and precision to keep operations moving.
• Be flexible and ready to take on additional responsibilities as needed.
