Base pay range

$85,000.00/yr - $95,000.00/yr

Description

The key responsibilities of the Field Service Engineer are:

Install and configure complex automation machinery to meet operational standards
Diagnose and resolve mechanical, electrical, and software issues on-site
Perform preventative maintenance to maximize equipment uptime and lifespan
Collaborate with engineering teams to understand and support project objectives
Maintain detailed service records and technical documentation
Train customers and fellow technicians on equipment usage and troubleshooting
Communicate component needs and service updates to supervisors and purchasing agents

Profile

A successful Field Service Engineer will have:

3-5 years of hands-on experience in field service or industrial automation
Strong knowledge of hydraulic, pneumatic, and PLC-based systems
Skilled at reading blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals
Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities
Strong interpersonal and customer service skills
Comfortable with extensive domestic and international travel (up to 75%)
Valid driver's license and U.S. passport required
