Job summary

RPM xConstruction, LLC is seeking a Field Mechanic with supervisory experience to lead and train field staff, ensure safety compliance, and maintain equipment across multiple sites. The role requires strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills, with a focus on timely repairs and performance improvements.

The ideal candidate will manage tool inventories, generate repair reports, and participate in budgeting while maintaining OSHA, DOT, and MSHA standards.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Five years’ heavy equipment repair experience.
• Three years’ experience supervising mechanics.
• Proficiency with PC and MS Office.
• Understand OSHA, DOT, MSHA regulations.

Responsibilities

• Fulfill all duties of Field Mechanic.
• Train new Field Mechanics to be operational within one week.
• Re-train employees within 48 hours after incidents.
• Visit job sites and observe employees weekly.
• Organize and lead monthly safety trainings and document proof.
• Ensure tools are maintained and organized; order new tools.
• Prepare repair reports for management and participate in budgeting.
• Lead and guide team members; enforce safety practices.
• Manage deadlines and project priorities; multi-task effectively.
