Job summary

RPM xConstruction LLC is seeking a Field Mechanic to perform and supervise essential vehicle and equipment repairs across project sites. The role includes training new mechanics, conducting safety trainings, and ensuring compliant operations, with regular site visits and performance tracking.

The candidate should have a minimum of five years in heavy equipment repair and at least three years in supervising mechanics, plus strong PC and communication skills.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Proficient with a PC and standard office software.
• Experience with Viewpoint software or ability to learn.

Responsibilities

• Fulfills all duties of Field Mechanic as described.
• Trains new Field Mechanics and supervises in the field.
• Conducts safety trainings and maintains training records.
• Observes employees and provides on-the-job retraining.
• Places orders for tools and sources parts as needed.
• Delivers reports and participates in budgeting discussions.
• Investigates incidents and implements corrective actions.
• Ensures DOT/OSHA compliance and safety standards.
• Maintains good relationships with departments and vendors.
