Job summary

Crete United is seeking a Field Service Supervisor for commercial HVAC in Davenport, IA. Lead field technicians, coordinate calls, and ensure safe, efficient service delivery on rooftop units, chillers, boilers, air handlers, and controls.

The role requires 5+ years in commercial HVAC with supervisory experience, strong leadership and communication, and travel as needed. Relocation assistance is available for the right candidate and a company vehicle may be provided.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; HVAC technical training preferred.
• Minimum of 5 years of commercial HVAC experience; supervisory experience preferred.
• Strong knowledge of commercial HVAC systems, troubleshooting, repairs, and preventive maintenance.
• Experience with rooftop units, chillers, boilers, air handlers, HVAC controls, and building automation systems.
• Ability to read mechanical drawings, wiring diagrams, and equipment specifications.
• Knowledge of safety standards, mechanical codes, and refrigerant handling requirements.
• EPA Section 608 certification required for applicable refrigerant work; Universal certification preferred.
• Valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and mentor field service technicians on commercial HVAC systems.
• Coordinate daily service calls, technician schedules, preventive maintenance, and emergency repairs.
• Oversee troubleshooting, maintenance, and repairs of HVAC equipment including rooftop units and boilers.
• Ensure safety, quality, and on-time completion per company standards.
• Manage preventive maintenance programs for commercial buildings and properties.
• Provide technical support for diagnosing complex HVAC issues and review service reports.
