Responsibilities

  • Manage the Hatchery Inovo Process for Zoetis and run customer service programs.
  • Perform scheduled preventive maintenance on electrical/mechanical equipment and biodevices.
  • Provide electrical/mechanical support and perform emergency repairs on-site.
  • Understand and follow electrical schematics.
  • Participate in after-hours territory support and repairs.
  • Serve as primary Zoetis Field Service Technician contact for assigned hatcheries.
  • Complete required reporting and procedures (visits, contacts, parts usage, certification, maintenance).
  • Manage the Inovo process for 3-5 hatcheries and Zoetis operator training for 25+ employees.
  • Facilitate vaccine and sanitation prep for Zoetis devices.
  • Support Zoetis Process Evaluation Program and report data in Fieldaware system.
  • Maintain safety procedures and regular communication with supervisor.

Job description

Location: Mississippi (Ideal: Forest, MS)

Primary Responsibilities:
  • Manage the Hatchery Inovo Process for Zoetis; execute Best-in-Class Customer Service Programs.
  • Perform scheduled preventive maintenance on electrical/mechanical equipment/assigned biodevices.
  • Provide electrical/mechanical support and perform emergency repairs at customer locations as needed.
  • Understand and follow electrical schematics.
  • Participate in territory after-hours support and repairs.
  • Serve as primary Zoetis Field Service Technician contact for assigned hatcheries.
  • Complete required reporting and procedures (visit scheduling, site contacts, parts usage priorities, site cart management, certification program, and vehicle/equipment maintenance).
  • Manage the Inovo process for 3-5 hatcheries.
  • Manage the Zoetis Operator Training Program for 25+ customer employees.
  • Facilitate vaccine and sanitation preparation for Zoetis devices.
  • Support and conduct the Zoetis Process Evaluation Program.
  • Collect and report information in the Zoetis Fieldaware System.
  • Follow all safety procedures; maintain regular communication with supervisor.
Education & Experience:
  • Associate degree in electro/mechanical systems (or related) and/or bachelor's degree in poultry science (or related).
  • Experience may substitute for education; typically 1-5 years related experience.
Skills/Requirements:
  • Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred.
  • Proven mechanical aptitude; strong organizational skills; self-starter.
  • Critical thinking/problem solving and judgment.
  • Effective communication with multiple customer management levels.
  • Basic computer skills (Word/Excel/Outlook).
  • Ability to interpret and communicate hatchery Air Plating Program results.
Physical/Work Requirements:
  • Work in hatchery environments with potential hazards; heat/humidity.
  • On-call for unsocial hours (nights/weekends/holidays).
  • Lift 25+ pounds; travel 60-80% (up to 30% overnight).
