Job summary

Chesapeake Automotive Equipment is seeking a Shop Equipment Mechanic to assist with the setup and servicing of shop equipment in Bowie, MD. You will travel to customer locations such as repair shops and dealerships, installing and ensuring equipment operates safely.

The ideal candidate enjoys solving mechanical problems and managing their own workload. The position offers a competitive hourly pay of $25 to $35, a company vehicle for daily travel, and ongoing training opportunities, all within a stable team-oriented environment.

Qualifications

• Background working with mechanical systems in automotive or similar environments.
• Ability to diagnose and repair both electrical and mechanical issues.
• Comfortable working independently in a field service role.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine service and inspections to maintain safe operation.
