Job summary

Current Lighting is seeking a Field Service Coordinator to schedule and coordinate field service activities, support customers and internal teams, and manage service requests through completion.

You will create purchase orders, audit invoices, and maintain accurate records while communicating status to customers and vendors. A strong background in scheduling, coordination, and purchasing is preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; associate degree preferred.
• Experience in service coordination, dispatch, customer service, or related roles.
• Experience creating purchase orders and reviewing invoices preferred.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and scheduling systems like ConnectWise.
• Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities independently and collaboratively.

Responsibilities

• Schedule and dispatch Field Service Engineers for startup, warranty, and service requests.
• Review service requests, coordinate schedules and resources, and monitor open tickets through completion.
• Communicate job requirements, schedules, and status updates to customers, agents, Field Service Engineers, vendors, and internal stakeholders.
• Address service-related questions and escalate issues, exceptions, or scheduling conflicts when appropriate.
• Coordinate replacement parts, materials, and other resources needed to support field activities.
• Create purchase orders for approved vendors, subcontractors, and field service activities.
• Audit service invoices against purchase orders, approved scope, rates, service reports, and supporting documentation; resolve discrepancies before approval.
• Maintain accurate service, dispatch, purchase order, invoice, and related operational records.
